Andy Williams, the singer who popularize the song Moon River has passed away due to a bladder cancer at the age of 84 at Branson, Mo.
He started his singing career in the 50's and rise as a star with Emmy award winning show and top singing albums.
Our parents on the 70's would watch his Christmas show regularly. He made eight Christmas album and the most popular song is the "Its The Most Wonderful Time of the year.He also entertained us on the Grammy Awards from 1971 up to 1977. He was a constant performer at his Moon River
Theater in Branson.
Born in Wall Lake Iowa, he first appeared on a radio show together with brothers popularly known as Williams Brother quartet.
His rise to stardom started in 1962 when he performed Moon River at the Academy Awards.Moon River is a Oscar Winning Song from Breakfast at Tiffany's.
In 1966, He was a regular at the Ceasar Palace Casino nightclub and performed for 20 years.
